Jahangir Tareen Khan’s son was reconsidering his plan to bid for Pakistan Super leagues’ Sixth franchise. The young politician was keen to buy the Multan Sultans franchise of PSL. He expressed his reservations about estimated price of the team on twitter.
Last year the PCB sold the franchise for 5.2 Million. He felt the franchise was overpriced. But the owners of Multan sultans failed to pay to Pakistan Cricket Board a year later. He wants to keep the team in South Punjab. Ali Tareen planned to bid an expecting price around 4 Million. He is listening news that the bid will cross 5 Million.
Last month, Ali Tareen confirmed that he isinterested in buying PSL franchise previously known as Multan Sultans. He wants to buy the Sixth franchise for the 4th edition. The Schon Properties failed to meet the financial obligations. All the franchise rights of Multan Sultan reverted to Pakistan Cricket Board.
